PinIt Cam requires an iPhone with dual cameras (front and rear simultaneously). This means iPhone XS or later. For the best experience with all three lens options (ultra-wide, wide, telephoto), we recommend iPhone 12 Pro or later.
Both cameras record simultaneously in 1080p. The rear camera captures the track ahead while the front camera records your reactions. Both feeds are synced with GPS telemetry and stored as a single session on your device. You choose how they're displayed — split screen, track only, driver only, or picture-in-picture.
No. Everything stays on your device. PinIt Cam has no server, no cloud storage, and no backend. Your footage never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it. We can't see your recordings because we chose not to build the ability to.
